RVCI™ Remote Virtual Chimney Inspection™ is a chimney inspection method that allows the need for inspections to proceed in a timely manner by the owner, manager, house keeper or contractor located on the site where the chimney is located while the inspector or inspection team performing the inspections are located remotely.

If immediate safety hazards are found, the NYCCS™ will withhold the issuance of failure certificates, giving owners the opportunity to perform maintenance and or make corrective repairs.

an evaluation of the chimney.

Factors including change of fuels, neglect in maintenance, weather and shifting ground can cause chimney's to weaken, deteriorate, or lean over time, and it is important that owners are diligent in making sure these structures are safe and code compliant in order to prevent potential accidents.

No-Failure Certificate™ is a digital conformation that the "Fireplace and or Chimney" has not failed or passed an inspection but acknowledges an observation that the chimney appears to be visually structurally sound.

The three main terms used to describe the required strength of an existing or newly installed chimney are “structurally sound,” “solid” and “stable.” “Structurally sound” is a common construction term that indicates that a chimney is strong, sturdy and well made. 

Clean & Safe Certificate™  is a digital conformation that the "Fireplace and or Chimney Flue" is clean & safe. 

What is meant by clean & safe? The three main terms used to describe clean & safety of an existing or newly installed chimney are “clean,” “free-passage.” “safe” are common construction terms that indicates a chimney is operable.
